Rude white dude

I went into Chinatown to grab some dim sum for my dinner.  I walked into one of the delis that was not crowded, a rare treat.  Only two white guys there buying some food.  So I make my order and the woman behind the counter began picking the items.  One of the guys at the counter turns around and says, "I know you know it's rude when there's no line here."  I didn't understand what he was getting at so I said, "Oh, you just have to plunge in."  I've had many times that I've been overlooked by the deli workers because I'm not making myself be noticed.  He responds, "Since you speak English so well, I know you know that was rude."  I didn't realize I had cut in front of him.  So I apologize.  And then he throws me this nasty look, like yeah right, you did that on purpose.  What the fuck!  I'm still steamed about this.  I can understand  rudeness in Chinatown from Chinese people.  It's annoying but you have to be aggressive.  But from white people in Chinatown who think they can be rude because I can freakin speak English?  Sorry, I have no tolerance for that.  The other deli worker looked to me to order and I had to point to the fuckin dude so she would take his order.  Get the counter lady's attention!  That's how it works.
